Need some style inspiration for your summer looks? Style a bandana or a wild rag to add personality to your warm-weather outfits. Here are a few ideas to help get you started.
How to Tie a Wild Rag
- Fold a large scarf into a long strip. Depending on personal preference, you can do this by either folding it or twirling it.
- Place the scarf at the front of your neck. You can leave a little bit of the middle triangle hanging down like we did, or you can keep this tucked into the strip.
- Wrap the scarf around to the back of your neck, crisscross and bring the ends forward to each side of your neck.
- Grab the right side and tuck under the left and through the little hole that is created at the front of your neck.
- Tuck the left side under right and through the hole.
- Pull both sides to tighten and straighten.
Boots
Tie a wild rag through the holes of a favorite pair of old boots. Make a big loopy bow to add a bit of whimsy.
