New Grooming Services in McMinnville

At over 25,000 sq. ft., Wilco’s McMinnville store features the largest selection of all 15 Wilco locations; but until today, was the only full-size store without a Grooming Salon.

The experienced Grooming staff has been working in nearby Newberg and happily welcomed Dixie Lou, an Aussie Healer, as the first McMinnville pet grooming customer.

Coincidentally, the new pet groomers were trained at Wilco’s first Pet Grooming Salon which was added over 15 years ago in Newberg, Oregon in 1996.  Since then, Wilco’s grooming salons have complimented an extensive pet food and supplies department.

“We’ve had great success in our groom shops these last few years and customers in communities where we haven’t offered these services have been asking for pet grooming. Wilco’s PET FOOD and SUPPLIES signature department has been one of our fastest growing departments the last several years and we want to keep that going by listening to our customers. This year we’re investing with an all new pet groomer training program and adding 50% more groom shops. Our McMinnville store is one of our best stores and we’re excited to add pet grooming services for our customers there.”

The new Grooming Salon offers services for dogs and willing cats.  The services range from a shampoo and conditioner bath, clipping / grooming, nail trims, flea treatments, dental cleaning, and more.

The new McMinnville Grooming Salon is now open to take appointments; and walk-in pet visitors are always welcome.
