Bare Root Chilcotin Raspberry Cane

This raspberry variety is a dual-cropping marvel, yielding abundantly in mid-season with the main crop in summer and a secondary crop in fall. The smaller fall harvest emerges on the tips of primocanes, which can be removed after fruiting concludes. This variety contains fewer thorns in comparison to other varieties. Requires well-drained fertile soil and sufficient water throughout the summer months. Chilcotin raspberries thrive with a cold winter to ensure proper fruit set. In winter, lightly thin canes, as this variety produces flowers and fruits on the growth from the previous season.
