Our recommended soil ingredients to promote the best growth and health of raised bed vegetable plants especially for starting new raised beds in traditional framed designs or stock tanks. This kit provides enough soil to adequately fill a 6ftx3ft raised bed or a 2ftx2ftx4ft stock tank with some extra left over.

The ingredients:

G&B Raised Bed Mix

The slightly woody texture adds the ideal combination of porosity and moisture retention to the soil. Additional coir and peat moss ingredients offer increased moisture-holding capacity, making Gardner & Bloome Organics Raised Bed and Potting Mix great for container gardens too. Added organic fertilizers like composted chicken manure, kelp meal and bat guano ensure both an immediate and extended release of nutrients to keep the soil healthy.

G&B Harvest Supreme

A premium soil amendment that improves all kinds of soils. It loosens hard, compacted clay or adobe soils, yet helps bind excessively loose rocky or sandy soils. Use this all-purpose blend in vegetable gardens, flower beds, or wherever a rich, well-textured garden soil is desired.

G&B Purely Compost

Tomato Skins, almond shells, rice straw and hulls. In OR, WA, ID this product contains: bark fines, composted dairy manure, composted chicken manure, and seabird guano. Amends approximately 15 sq ft. pH Range 5.8 – 7.5.

G&B Worm Gro

Worm castings, also known as vermicompost or vermicastings, are created when organic matter passes through the digestive system of earthworms. The earthworm’s special digestive process transforms organic material into a fantastic soil supplement that plants simply love. By mixing Worm-Gro into your soil at the drip line, you’ll be helping your plants resist disease and pests while increasing beneficial microbe activity that creates a great soil environment in-ground or in-containers.
