Redmond Sea Salt Rock is a natural mineral-rich sea salt left behind by an ancient sea when it evaporated in Southern Utah. Each 7-11-pound rock plays an important role in providing these essential trace minerals missing from many forages. Redmond rocks have more than 60 trace minerals and electrolytes in a natural blend only nature could have made. They trigger horses to drink preventing dehydration or digestion issues and balance electrolytes. Redmond Rock lasts longer in the weather and will not crumble or dissolve in the rain or humidity like pressed blocks tend to do.
FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS
When first introducing horses to Redmond Rock, they might not know what to think. You can encourage that first lick by pouring a little water on the rock or by putting a bit of molasses on it.
