YETI Coolers were founded in 2006 with a simple mission: build the cooler we’d use every day if it existed. One that was built for the serious outdoor enthusiast rather than for the mass-discount retailers. One that could take the abuse we knew we’d put it throughout in the field and on the water. One that simply wouldn’t break. We decided early on that product innovation would come from necessity and firsthand experience – not from market research and data analysis. Today, YETI products perform when it matters most – whether that be an excursion into the remote Alaskan wilderness, chasing redfish on the Gulf coast, or just getting together with friends in the backyard.
“For the past two years, my wife and I have taken our two YETI Tundra 45’s on bowhunting trips in Eastern Oregon’s Wallowa-Whitman National Forest, just 20 miles from the Snake River. The temperature each day reached close to 80 degrees, with overnight lows under 40 degrees. Our food and beverages inside the Tundra remained cold and we had ice in the coolers for 10 days! That’s performance we could never get from any other cooler we’ve used. With the nearest town 40 miles away, a trip to resupply ice cost us too much good hunting time plus extra fuel.”
